So, Father’s Day came and went, and what do I have to show for it? I’m learning how to make beer, that’s pretty awesome. Oh yeah, and it was Free RPG day. The wise folks at WOTC put together an adventure for Free RPG day, called Bloodsand Arena. The release of Bloodsands Arena is a [...]
I’ve been using GridMapper for a couple of weeks now, and I’m really enjoying the ability it’s giving me to create dungeon delve style maps. I was asked to write a tutorial about how I use it, so I’m giving it shot. The great thing about GridMapper is that it allows any RPG game master to [...]
There was a Twitter conversation this morning regarding Paragon fights taking significantly longer than Heroic ones. While obviously the sheer number of choices is an issue, that’s a built-in for the game, so we have to accept it and deal with it. Besides telling your players to hurry up, I had an idea a few [...]

Admittedly, I should have written this a while ago. I guess I was delaying. If you really wanted to know if The Player’s Handbook 3 was worth reading, there are plenty of reviews out there. Still, I submit mine, some time after its release. I’ll do a quick rundown of each chapter, and my thoughts [...]
